About
Hot Stamping & Hot Stamping Dies
All hot stamping jobs require dies.
Dies are made from magnesium,
copper, brass, silicone rubber and steel. |
We normally use "short run" magnesium dies for orders
up to 2,500 pieces. After that, we use "long run" copper
dies. |
On a rare occasion we use copper dies for special jobs of less than
2,500 pieces. For half-tone and half-tone gradients we can only use
magnesium dies. |
|
Our die charges guarantee your die is good for
one year.
If we
damage it we will replace at no charge. Magnesium dies can be reused
two or three times on jobs of 1,000 or less without degrading within
one year.
|
We store and maintain dies for one year. Space considerations and
degradation over time limit how long we can maintain dies. |
| See Art Specifications on this site
for art sizing, multi-color art separation and color-trap information. |
Please inquire for die charges.
All of our published die charges
in Media File, ESP etc. are for 1 color/1 location (top OR bottom).
Top AND bottom imprints are quoted via phone or the "Distributors
